Although David Nuban has only worked for the Care Services family of companies since October, 2020, he is not new to working in healthcare. In fact, he brings more than 25 years of experience in client-facing roles at pharmaceutical healthcare companies, including LTC and hospice pharmacy services.
“I love this market because at the end of the day, I want to feel that what I did made a difference – for my clients and for the patients they serve.”
– David Nuban, regional account manager, Care Services, LLC
David began his career honorably serving in the United States Air Force. After his military experience, he moved into pharmaceutical sales where he honed his client services skills and found enjoyment in providing education to providers.
In his various roles in sales and account management, David says his favorite part of the job has always been interacting with clients and having in-person meetings, which is why 2020 has been so challenging during the coronavirus pandemic. Like so many others, David’s had to adjust and find new ways to maintain connections with clients and colleagues through the lens of a camera over the computer, and over phone and email. But David’s no stranger to change and has adapted well.
“Over the years the healthcare industry has seen many changes,” he said, “including increased regulations and reduced reimbursement, putting a burden on pharmacies and facilities providing care to those in need.” Throughout his career, he says he sought roles where “I can work as a true partner for my clients to offer solutions and opportunities to impact cost containment.”
When not working, David enjoys binge-watching Forensic Files from his hometown of Dallas/Fort Worth and having his favorite meal: Middle Eastern rice and kabobs with side dishes of pickled vegetables, cucumber, tomato and vinaigrette salad, beets with yogurt and fresh fruit and hot tea for dessert!
