Coronavirus (COVID-19): Keeping Employees and Clients Safe During

Care Services is closely monitoring local, state and federal government guidance regarding workplace safety, including the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidance for businesses and employers for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) for preparation and response.

While we have not experienced any interruptions to our business, if at some point in the future it is necessary for our employees to work from home, we are confident that our Business Continuity Plan will enable us to continue to provide 24×7 service and a consistent level of support and service availability. As part of our response, we are leveraging technology to conduct internal and external meetings as much as possible.

Delivery Network

We are in touch with our delivery network and are providing notification that many long-term care facilities are setting up screening stations and they should be prepared to answer questions related to their travel history and their health. We’ve alerted our couriers that if they experience any symptoms of the virus that they should seek medical attention and no longer accept delivery orders.

Help Us Help You

As the long-term care facilities that you service develop formal plans for visitor engagement, please let us know. We have received guidance from some partners regarding changes and it has been extremely helpful for our preparedness and business continuity planning. At this point we are not giving couriers the phone numbers for every facility, but we are doing so as specific facilities ask for call ahead as part of their lockdown processes.

As it pertains to pharmacy network availability, we are closely monitoring our network for any retail pharmacy disruption – either closures or shortages – and will be here to help identify alternate locations, if needed, to meet your needs. These are unprecedented times and we are doing everything we can to proactively address your business needs.
